Canyon’s detailed description
The canyon that bears the name of the town where it is located, Bóixols (Pallars Jussà, Lleida), is refreshing, fun, and ideal for getting started in canyoning. With cold waters and a highly varied descent, we will come across one of the most beautiful rappels and stunning pools, where we can repeat the final jump as many times as we want!
Pallars Jussà is known for its spectacular geological formations and its unique natural landscape. As we make our way along its course, we can observe the limestone walls, as well as the crystal-clear waters of the river. The walls are quite vertical in some points, which we can descend using rappelling techniques. As we venture further, the landscapes become increasingly incredible. In addition to the geological formations, the Barranc de Bóixols is also an important refuge for the local fauna and flora. Among the species that can be observed are the owl, the salamander, the green frog, and the lizard. Regarding vegetation, the presence of native vegetation such as black pine, oak, and boxwood is notable.
In the Bóixols Canyon, we will find jumps, slides, and rappels that will make canyoning an exciting and enjoyable experience suitable for all ages.
Activity operation
We will meet at the meeting point, usually where we will leave the vehicles or from where we will depart with the minimum number of vehicles to the nearest parking lot to the activity.
There, all participants will meet with the guide, we will distribute personal equipment to each person and provide the necessary explanations.
From there, we will all set out to do the activity together. For longer approaches, we ask that you wear comfortable walking clothes, which will be worn under the wetsuit when descending the canyon. We recommend swim trunks or shorts and a sports fabric shirt.
After the activity, we will return to the same point where we left the cars.
Once there, we will change and return the equipment to the guide’s vehicle.

Yes, everyone is welcome at Brollats. If you come alone, please note that we will likely add you to an activity with an existing group. Therefore, check the agenda and choose the activity that interests you the most.
It depends on many factors: age, type of activity, the people accompanying us... You know your children, but we don't know them yet. If you call us and tell us a bit about their age, if they are afraid of heights, and some information about them, we can provide advice.

Once the activity is finished, we will send you a link with the photos. If you have taken your own photos, we will ask you to add them to the folder so that all participants can access them.
Certainly, we won’t prohibit it. However, if it gets damaged or lost, Brollats is not responsible for the items you bring. Nonetheless, you can request the images you want from the guide accompanying you. They will do their best to provide you with the best memories!
Days before the activity, you will need to fill out a form with your details. It’s important to provide your weight, height, and shoe size. With these variables, we can determine the wetsuit size for you.
Absolutely! We recommend starting with simpler activities and gradually increasing the difficulty as you gain confidence. You can begin with hiking, snowshoeing, or water treks and challenge yourself.
If you notify us with more than 24 hours in advance, there’s no problem, we will refund 100% of the payment and deposit you have made. However, if you notify us with less than 24 hours in advance, we will evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis.
