Large Wall’s detailed description
The Sallent Waterfall is an impressive waterfall located in Rupit, a small town in the Osona region. It is considered one of the most picturesque and fascinating places in the area, attracting tourists and nature lovers with its natural beauty and peaceful surroundings.
To reach the Sallent Waterfall, you need to follow a trail rich in flora and fauna, offering visitors an immersive experience in nature. As you progress along the path, the sound of running water becomes louder, creating additional anticipation and excitement as you approach the waterfall.
The Sallent Waterfall presents itself as a majestic spectacle. With a water drop of approximately 100 meters, it forms a curtain of water that springs from the top and crashes against the rocks at the bottom. Its strength and energy are mesmerizing, captivating the gaze of visitors.
The descent of the Sallent Waterfall is an exciting and challenging experience for adventure enthusiasts, as it transforms into an incredible descent of 120 meters divided into two rappels of 60 meters each. With all the safety precautions we can provide, we will descend alongside the water using a rope and the rappelling technique. Upon request, it is also possible to do the descent in a single rappel of over 100 meters. Recommended for adrenaline seekers, thrill-seekers, and first-timers!
Activity operation
We will meet at the meeting point, usually where we will leave the vehicles or from where we will depart with the minimum number of vehicles to the nearest parking lot to the activity.
There, all participants will meet with the guide, we will distribute personal equipment to each person and provide the necessary explanations.
From there, we will all set out to do the activity together. For longer approaches, we ask that you wear comfortable walking clothes, which will be worn under the wetsuit when descending the canyon. We recommend swim trunks or shorts and a sports fabric shirt.
After the activity, we will return to the same point where we left the cars.
Once there, we will change and return the equipment to the guide’s vehicle.
